On the 5th of November 2010, we both had plans to go clubbing with our separate groups of friends. As it turned out both our plans for the night fell through so by coincidence both groups ended up at “Club BLOW” (yeap…), where Chris worked on the bar or as a PR.

Chris, ever confident, walked past Dannie as they skipped the queue (baller move) and told his mates he was definitely going to speak to her (they weren’t convinced). The night went on, with Chris trying to build up the courage—helped along by a few trips to the bar—and Dannie noticing the not-so-subtle glances in her direction.​ Eventually, after a “one last tequila shot and I’m doing it” moment, Chris turned around to find Dannie had already moved closer to where the lads were. He finally made his move, and after a lot of shapes cutting on the dancefloor, Dannie decided he was funny & charming enough (sick ponytail helped) —and so just maybe worth giving her real phone number to.
